How to Enter:
- No entries will qualify if received before 12:00AM CST July 1, 2010. Limit one entry per household regardless of means of entry. Multiple entries will be disqualified.
- To qualify entries must be submitted by 12:00 AM (midnight) August 31, 2010. An entry may be made using one of the following methods:
- Email a picture to pat@callpattheplumber.com with your name, address, and phone number
- Drop off a picture by visiting our facilities at 1647 SW 41st St, Topeka, Kansas with the name, address, and phone number
- Mail in a picture. Take a picture of your water heater and put your name, address, and phone number on it and mail it in. (Mailed entries must be postmarked by August 25, 2010)
Eligibility Requirements
- Entrants must be 18 years of age or older and legal residents of Kansas
- Home must be owner-occupied and reside in the Pat the Plumber service area in and around Topeka, Kansas
- The natural gas or liquid propane gas water heater must be functional and the main source of hot water for your home
- Owner shall provide original installation date information, if possible.
- Entrance to your home must be allowed in order to verify the age of your water heater.
- No purchase necessary.
- Employees of Pat the Plumber, LLC, their respective advertising and promotional agencies and the immediate family members of each are not eligible. By entering, winners certify that they meet all eligibility requirements.
- Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries.
- Not applicable to contracts signed prior to contest start date.
General Conditions
Pat the Plumber, LLC water heater installation must be must be installed by September 30, 2010. Only one Grand Prize Winner will be selected based on the age and condition of the water heater from all eligible entries.Applicable taxes are the responsibility of the winner. Upgrades to a higher efficiency or capacity water heater beyond 40 gallon are extra. Upgrades due to code violations are extra. Water heater included is a State Industries, 40 gallon, natural gas or propane model with 6 year parts and tank warranty. Installation labor by Pat the Plumber, LLC includes a one-year comprehensive warranty.
Odds of winning depend on number of entries received. To qualify, the entry must be received by 12:00 AM (midnight) August 31, 2010 for the final selection. Award date is September 7, 2010. The winner will be notified in person or by phone. If a prize is not claimed by 5:00PM CST, prize may be forfeited and an alternate prize winner will be selected. No cash will be awarded.
Grand Prize winner must execute an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within seven days following attempted notification. Grand Prize winner will be required to return documents within seven days. Non-compliance within this time period may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Entrants further grant Pat the Plumber, LLC, the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in conjunction with the contest. Acceptance of any prize constitutes permission for Pat the Plumber, LLC and its advertising and promotional agencies to use winner’s name and likenesses for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation.
By entering, participants release and hold harmless Pat the Plumber, LLC, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the contest or any prize won. Any information shared with Pat the Plumber, LLC will be held subject to Pat the Plumber, LLC privacy policy. No responsibility is assumed by Pat the Plumber, LLC for lost, late, misdirected, illegible, or mutilated entries or for any computer, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur. Pat the Plumber, LLC will not be held liable for any damage to the prize resulting from delivery or installation, nor for any damage to the winner’s home resulting from delivery or installation.
